Hadestown
Book, music & lyrics · Musical · 2006
Orpheus and Eurydice fall in love in a world where warmth and security are scarce. When Eurydice is drawn into Hades’ industrial underworld, Orpheus follows with a song and an unlikely plan. Their story intertwines with Hades and Persephone’s troubled marriage in a musical retelling of the Greek myths.
